Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan invites applications for a full time, 9-month, tenure-track position in physics to join us on campus. The position is at the assistant/associate level and will begin Fall 2025.

Annual Salary: $52,000 - $65,000/year, 9-month position. The actual salary will be commensurate with candidate credentials and experience. A full benefit package of health plans, disability coverage, 100% tuition remission for employees and their dependent children, and a 403(b)-retirement plan is included.

Requirements and Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will possess a relevant PhD in physics, give evidence of scholarly potential, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Candidates with a Masters (MS) in physics with relevant teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates should be able to teach introductory physics courses (algebra-based and calculus-based); introductory astronomy, as well as intermediate math courses (e.g., calculus, differential equations) and/or engineering courses which have a strong physics component (e.g., mechanics & machines, dynamics).
- Other responsibilities include supervising the physics lab & equipment, scholarly engagement in the candidate's specialization area, service on university committees as required, and other departmental duties as assigned.
- A typical full-time faculty will teach 24 credits (lecture and lab) per academic year (mid-August to mid-May).
