About Tufts University Physics & Astronomy Department

The Tufts University Physics & Astronomy department is located on Tufts' Somerville/Medford campus, just outside of Boston, MA. Our nineteen faculty, approximately 45 graduate students, and around 100 undergraduates come from all over the globe to participate in and learn about research that is exploring the physical world on a range of scales and research programs, including Astronomy and Astrophysics, Condensed Matter, Cosmology and Relativity, High Energy Physics, and Physics Education Research.
